With several 3D-printed prototypes in hand, the FlingGolf team headed out to Cape Ann golf course in Essex, MA to shoot some photo and stills of the product in use. We had a great crew and cast from Mechanica helping out, and luckily the weather really cooperated. Here are a few of the best shots from the day, and watch for our new video to come soon.
Hope to see you out on the "linx" soon!
In its December issue, PGA Magazine details how one PGA Pro in Virginia has filled empty tee times and generated significant revenue by introducing FlingGolf to new young players and families.
He did it all with just 24 FlingSticks and an emphasis on fun.
It is amazing since we at PlusOne Sports introduced FlingGolf in February 2014 at the National Golf Course Owners Association Annual Meeting in Orlando, that this awesome young sport has been embraced by hundreds of golf courses across the US and beyond (see our course map for courses where FlingGolf is welcome) and our community has grown to many thousands of players. This past weekend we had the very special opportunity to be in North Carolina to help roll FlingGolf out at Pinehurst, aka "the Cradle of American Golf", which, since 1895 has been the home of multiple US Opens, Ryder Cups, US Amateurs and many other huge golf tournaments.
