First Fling and Swing Fest in Oceanside, CA

Proving that FlingGolf and Golf are compatible, the Ocean Hills Golf Club just held our first Fling & Swing round of nine holes with 23 two-player teams, a Fling and a traditional golfer, playing a fun Scramble. Reggies were counted and the winners made the most of them with 7 out of 8 Par 3s and a low score of 19 on the Par 28 course.
The strengths of each team's sport were very complementary. Flingers appreciated how much farther traditional golfers can hit the ball from the tee box on the longer holes. Traditional golfers couldn't believe how easy it is for Flingers to get out of a bunker and to control their "chip" shots around a green.
The response from players was very positive and we plan to have more mixed play events in the future.

Great day! We had a lot of fun mixing with the traditional golfers. The game compliments each other. Especially in the sand traps!
