Alex visits Massanutten Resort to present the FlingGolf Innovator Award

September 25, 2015 1 min read

Alex visited the Woodstone Meadows Golf Course at the Massanutten Resort in Virginia to present PGA Pro Brett Mowbray with PlusOne Sports FlingGolf Innovator Award for being the first course in the country to surpass 1000 paid rounds in 2015.  Mowbray started with just a few FlingSticks and has seen visitors of all kinds using them to enjoy the course.  "Family friendly resorts would be crazy not to offer FlingGolf to their guests." Mowbray says.  It is a winner for the courses, because they are filling up the empty tee-times of the late afternoon, and the guests are having a great time playing.  Often, parents who play golf bring their kids to play FlingGolf alongside them, so the whole family enjoys the course.  Alex said, "Brett and the Massanutten Resort have shown real vision by introducing this new sport to their guests, making it a fun atmosphere, and realizing an excellent return as well.  This is an example for many other courses to follow as FlingGolf expands across the country and beyond.  My son and I had a great time staying here and taking advantage of the great activities off the course as well."
