February 23 marked the First FlingGolf Hole in One at Florida's Streamsong Resort. Matt LoPiccolo was playing the Black Course with a Patriot BalliStick FlingStick, when he nailed the 131 yard ace. In another display of how seamless FlingGolf is with traditional golf, Matt was playing the high end course with another FlingGolfer and a traditional golfer.
Matt, 29 said that he had given up on traditional golf, but when he was introduced to FlingGolf at the Fort Myers Country Club, he once again found himself out on the golf course, and now can play any course at a proficient level, as was displayed at Streamsong.
Despite numerous shutdowns and uncertainty due to Covid in 2020, PGA Pro Mike Skala at Welk Resort and JC Golf, blew past his projections for FlingGolf - breaking even on his investment in just a few weeks and meeting his yearly projections in less than 3 months.
The US Military continues to see FlingGolf as a great offering for their service men and women and families. In addition to the Marines holding a series of clinics and outings at Marine Memorial Golf Course at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California, The Air Force held a FlingGolf outing for the ACSC at Cypress Tree Golf Course at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.
Always practice good social distancing, but if you have courses near you that are open, playing golf and FlingGolf with family or a friend may be a good way to get some fresh air.
