National Golf Course Owners Association welcomes PlusOne Sports/FlingGolf as newest Partner.

 The National Golf Course Owners Association and PlusOne Sports/FlingGolf have formed a partnership to promote the sport of FlingGolf through golf courses and to individual players throughout the United States. "NGCOA is excited to welcome PlusOne Sports/FlingGolf as our newest partner. We look forward to working closely together to drive new young players to fill empty tee times and drive additional revenue to our members through this partnership," said Jay Karen, CEO of the NGCOA.

FlingGolf is played on a golf course, with a golf ball and can be played in the same foursome as golfers. Using a single FlingStick designed by PlusOne Sports, a player throws the golf ball from the tee down the fairway and ultimately glides it in to the hole on the green. Just in its second full season, the sport is being played on hundreds of golf courses throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The sport is often likened to snowboarding in that it is bringing young players and new revenue to underused courses, just as snowboarding did for ski resorts starting in the 1980s and 1990s.
