Longest FlingShot Contest kicks off the Girls and Boys 2019 Junior PGA Championships

Both the boys and Girls 2019 Junior PGA Championship featured a Longest FlingShot Contest to kick off each event.  The setting was the beautiful Keney Park Golf Course outside of Hartford CT, and the participants were the best 18 and under golfers in the world who had qualified to be there.  Some of these players will no doubt reach the PGA Tour.

The Girls event took place on July 7 and the Boys on July 28.  Out of over one hundred participants firing three golf balls apeice off the first hole with their FlingSticks, two winners rose to the top: Chloe Kovelesky nailed it 165 yards, and Leopoldo Herrera crushed it 203 yards to take home their New Swarm FlingSticks and bragging rights until next year. Welcome to the New Swarm, Boys and Girls.
