August 13, Dover, DE. Within a week of New Swarm sending FlingSticks to its 30th US Air Force Base, World League FlingGolf has announced a regional tournament on the Air Force's Eagle Creek Golf Course in Delaware.
In an effort spearheaded by WLF Player and Retired Army Veteran, Ryan "Soldier Boy" Stainbrook, and hosted by the management of Dover Air Force Base's Eagle Creek Golf Course, the "No Guts, No Glory" Regional FlingGolf Tournament will deliver an exciting format for its players, including a Nassau and Double Overlay Silent Partner formats.
Stainbrook believes the event will appeal to a wide group of players, pubic and military, top players and beginners. " I am excited to be working with the crew at Eagle Creek to bring this fun, military focused tournament to life. It's going to be a great day of FlingGolf, where the entire public is welcome to play alongside military veterans and active service personnel. I am especially fired up to be growing the sport in Delaware and the Air Force."
The event is certified by World League FlingGolf (but will not count toward WLF Rankings) and sponsored by New Swarm which will donate prize FlingSticks for the tournament.
The public is welcome to compete for prizes in the tournament, though registration ends on September 6 in order to get clearance to enter the base.
