Can Kenzo Defend at WLF's New Swarm Classic?

Can Kenzo Defend at WLF's New Swarm Classic?

Can Kenzo defend his title at this year's New Swarm Classic? With continued strong showings in Virginia and San Diego, he's certainly one of the favorites. As the first WLF Champion, Ken has spent this last year pioneering what it means to be a pro, and has continued to be a leader both on and off the course, promoting the game in Colorado and beyond. (Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement of the Colorado FlingGolf Open Registration.)  But he's got a challenging field to work through to keep the cup!

For example, will Sam "Scantron" Scannell, coming off a second in Virginia and a victory in San Diego continue his play at the top level and knock Kenzo off the pedestal?  Or is Austin "Showtime" Ebersole, with his victory in Virginia and as a finalist in San Diego going to be too much for the field, considering his home course advantage?

Or maybe it's Mike "BigCat" Edwards' time to break through and take home the cup?

On the Women's side, can Krysta "Birdie of Prey" take home a second World League FlingGolf trophy in a row, or will Britt 'Reggie Queen" Morrison defend her win on the women's side from last year?

Who else from Delaware will take advantage of their home course at American Classic next weekend in Lewes?  Lucky Jack, TinMan, Iceman?

Who will be the first to win a junior tournament?  Could it be local player, and star lacrosse goalie Patrick "Swaggy P" Little?

On the team side, it's a wide open opportunity for teams like Apex FC (who won in San Diego), or the winners in Virginia, the Keystone FC.  Or maybe we'll see a breakthrough from Flyin' Biridies FC or Spartan FC?

We are just a week away from finding out the answers to all these questions as a full field of the top World League FlingGolf players converge on southern Delaware on May 19 (Juniors), 20 and 21.  Attendance is free to join the excitement live or catch it later on DelMarVa Sports Network.

Catch up by catching last year's New Swarm Classic on ESPNews Saturday, May 13 at 1130 PM (ET).
