2X Longest FlingShot Champ Sam Scannell and New Swarm unveil his "Scantron Saber" FlingStick

Sam Scannell, aka "Scantron", has been a fixture on World League FlingGolf's New Swarm Tour since 2022, rising to reach the #1 ranking in 2025, and winning 9 WLF Tour events, 2 Season Championships and 2 LFC Longest FlingShot Championships in the process.

Sam has also been selected to Team USA FlingGolf for the third straight year, and will set out to compete in the Britain's Cup with this teammates against Team Europe in August.

And now he has partnered with New Swarm on his own Signature Series FlingStick, the "Scantron Saber", available at New Swarm's site, FlingGolf.com.

The Saber is built off of New Swarm's Ballistick, but comes in a deep red, with the SCANTRON signature logo emblazoned on the shaft.

Sam, as a former D1 Hockey player at University of Rhode Island and one of the longest flingers on the WLF's New Swarm Tour, needs a stick that comes as stiff as it can.

"When I received the final version of the Saber, I couldn’t wait to go out to a course and test it.  On the first few flings, I pulled the ball to the left.  I dialed it in after a few throws and the ball flew straight and far. I was fired up to feel how stiff the shaft felt compared to my older Ballistick. The new Scantron Saber fits my long game so well, without impacting my touch in the short game. I am confident that it will benefit players like me with a fast, strong swing."

The Saber may be ordered in L (47"), XL (49") and XXL (51") through New Swarm. It comes with a black FlingHead but may be ordered with a choice of Premium Graphic FlingHeads for an extra charge.
