Chambers Bay the latest "Major" course to be liberated by FlingGolf Players
You can now add Chambers Bay, the 2105 US Open host, to the growing list of courses that have the dual distinction of hosting a Major golf tournament, and also having had FlingGolf played on them. New Swarm's new putting "Slug" leads to better feel and lower FlingGolf scores
Based on suggestions and feedback from members of the FlingGolf Players Club, New Swarm has developed a new putting accessory for its FlingStick that gives the traditional putting stroke a more solid and smooth feel. As James Braley, a FlingGolf Player from Erie, PA put it, "I got a chance to use the ball sleeve (Slug) to putt this weekend. WOW! What a difference. It was as close to a (traditional) putter as you can probably get."

First FlingGolf Ace at Streamsong Resort
February 23 marked the First FlingGolf Hole in One at Florida's Streamsong Resort. Matt LoPiccolo was playing the Black Course with a Patriot BalliStick FlingStick, when he nailed the 131 yard ace. In another display of how seamless FlingGolf is with traditional golf, Matt was playing the high end course with another FlingGolfer and a traditional golfer.
Matt, 29 said that he had given up on traditional golf, but when he was introduced to FlingGolf at the Fort Myers Country Club, he once again found himself out on the golf course, and now can play any course at a proficient level, as was displayed at Streamsong.

In late 2020, the FlingGolf Players Group page on Facebook was launched and has quickly grown to over 150 members. The group's purpose is to provide FlingGolf enthusiasts with a place to connect with other players and share their experiences, review courses, post scores, compare playing techniques, show off their FlingStick of choice and discuss anything FlingGolf.

Military FlingGolf: Clinics and outings at Camp Pendleton and 84 Players compete at Maxwell Air Force Base
The US Military continues to see FlingGolf as a great offering for their service men and women and families. In addition to the Marines holding a series of clinics and outings at Marine Memorial Golf Course at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California, The Air Force held a FlingGolf outing for the ACSC at Cypress Tree Golf Course at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama.
