Shark Tank Update: What's Happened with FlingGolf in 2 Years?

People always ask us - "What was the impact that Shark Tank had on FlingGolf?"

After 2 years post ST, here's the answer in  a nutshell.  First - there is nothing like Shark Tank and the awareness that a prime time National TV Audience can have on a growing sport like FlingGolf.  The immediate boost in FlingStick sales was phenomenal, and just having that many more FlingGolf players out on golf courses around the US and beyond (33 countries now!) for the last 2 years has done wonders for the sport.

We often say FlingSticks in play are our best sales tools.  When people see other people playing, they are entranced. Once people hold it and experience the feeling of the golf ball leaving the channel, the most common comment is "Holy ......".

It is that awesome moment when they feel the power, control and exhilaration that has helped grow the sport.

So 1) Immediate Sales Boost - we saw the previous year's sales numbers in just the two months following Shark Tank and then keep on going for 2 years.

2) Snowball Effect: World League FlingGolf gets on ESPN with first National Tournament in 2022.  Then again in 2023.

One thing leads to another, so when we got a call from ESPN a few months after our Shark Tank airing asking if they could partner with us on a FlingGolf tournament, we didn't hesitate. The first World League FlingGolf Tournament took place almost exactly one year after Shark Tank, was filmed and shown on ESPN in August of '22, and was such a hit they asked us for more.

The WLF New Swarm Tour was born, with National Tournaments in Delaware and Virginia in '22, and 5 stops in 2023, there is no stopping it. ESPN will be airing the San Diego FlingGolf Open in August of '23.  Don't miss it.

3) Steady growth and acceptance. With the boom in stick sales and a growing and experienced player base, nearly 2000 golf courses (that we know of) in 33 countries (most recently Iceland) have been "liberated" from tired tradition and have welcomed FlingGolf play. Thousands more courses are just waiting to be liberated, with new ones dropping every day.

4) Pro Players. Our player base has become professional, with sponsored Men's and Women's Champions and Teams formed. The skill level has exploded, with new techniques and stronger competition in every tournament.

5) More Equipment Options. All of this growth has allowed us to expand our FlingStick offerings, improving designs to appeal to a wider audience and making sure everyone has the FlingStick that works and looks best for them.

We are motivated more than ever to take this sport where we all know it is going.  So join the growing swarm of players across the US and beyond, grab a FlingStick (all you need is one), liberate a course near you and maybe we'll even see you on WLF's New Swarm Tour.

Find your FlingStick and you're on the course within a week!

Use code ST15OFF for 15% off your first FlingStick order.

Idea – why don’t you introduce fling golf as a fun entertainment competition for intervals at major golf tournaments for the families and friends or ticket holders register on the day. With a prize . Where no experience is needed just a lot of fun which includes the everyday person,
