Registration Opens for New Swarm FlingGolf Classic
Amesbury, MA. April 10, 2023. In a return to the location of World League FlingGolf's first national tournament in 2022, the second tournament of the 2023 New Swarm Tour will take place at the American Classic Golf Club in Lewes Delaware this May 20-21. Registration for the 2023 New Swarm Classic is now open. (Limited to 72 Players.)
The format for this event will include Men's and Women's Individual, Team Doubles, and for the first time, a Junior Tournament. There will also be winners for Top Newcomer, Senior (63 and over) and Military (Veterans, Reserve and Active).
The return to American Classic Golf Club marks the anniversary of a very successful first year for World League FlingGolf's New Swarm Tour, with the airing of the original New Swarm Classic by ESPN in August of '22, followed by the Virginia Open in October '22 and the San Diego Open in February '23 (to be aired by ESPN in August '23).
Each tournament has seen a new champion, an increased field of women players, and the growth of the very popular Team Doubles segment.
Off the course, all players have enjoyed the New Swarm Saturday Night, a staple of each tournament held at a local establishment for new and veteran players to swap stories, techniques, and grow the camaraderie that the New Swarm Tour is known for.
The New Swarm Tour will continue through 2023 with tournaments in Colorado (July), New England (September) and Virginia (October), with an expanded WLF schedule shaping up for 2024.
