San Diego Seals defenseman Ethan Schott joined Padres announcers Mark Sweeney and Mike Pomeranz for a round of FlingGolf at the Loma Club in San Diego. 

The Meadow at Peabody Golf Course is a municipally owned course on Boston's North Shore.  The Meadow used its network to reach out to the town's youth sports and high school sports programs, and co-hosted the event on Facebook with New Swarm Sport's FlingGolf Facebook page.  

Aiming to bring new, younger players to the course, Peabody and New Swarm combined to reach the surrounding community and brought out 35 players for the first event.  "It was a great success", said Peter Cronan, Golf Director at the Meadow.

Garrett Epple and Connor Kearnan of the San Diego Seals met up with Fox5 San Diego’s Tabitha Lipkin to teach her all about FlingGolf at the Loma Club.

The Loma Club at Liberty Station combines a gorgeous and fun course with an amazing indoor/outdoor space, perfect for a round of FlingGolf followed by a round of drinks.  They have FlingSticks available or you can bring your own to enjoy the scenery of San Diego while you're playing the 9 hole.  Don't forget to pause and take in the San Diego Skyline from the 5th teebox.

The early clouds cleared and it became a fantastic day to introduce 40 new players to the FlingGolf Experience at the Wenham Country Club in Wenham, Massachusetts.  Players arrived from Ipswich and surrounding towns for a 30 minute clinic on the swing and short game basics and then went out to play 9 holes.  Kids who had never been to a golf course before picked up the game quickly, even recording several pars just using the single FlingStick and a golf ball that they were provided by New Swarm Sports, the sponsor of the event.

Through ticket sales, the FlingGolf team raised $1185.00 to benefit Ipswich Youth Lacrosse.  

North Shore Golf Magazine details the growth and acceptance of FlingGolf in New England, capturing the interest from young players and families, as well as the welcome from the region's golf course owners.  "FlingGolf is compared in golf circles to the snowboard, which revolutionized the ski resort industry in the 1980's and 90's."
