World League FlingGolf Introduces Super Region Teams Model to New Swarm Tour

• The USA is broken up into 6 Super Regions which will compete in a season-long competition at all Doubles Events (results in Individual Events will not count towards the competition)
• Players become a part of the Super Region Team just by being from that region.  When players compete in a Doubles Event at a WLF Tournament, their team's points count towards the competition.   
• WLF has created 6 multi-state Super Regions and team logos.
• One important distinction is that there is now a difference between these Super Region Teams and more hyper-local clubs, but we want the locally based clubs to continue.  Locally-based FlingGolf Clubs such as the West Virginia Highlandeers, the River City Rogues, Delaware Titans and the Keystone Wild, just to name a few, are still important for growing FlingGolf in their respective areas and should continue to reach out to their communities to grow their player base and, in each of those cases, play a big part in hosting and supporting a 2025 WLF Tournament.

Pruellage concluded: "This new framework is important for the evolution of the team aspect of the sport in the future.  We want there to be more autonomy at the local club level, while at the highest competitive level the Teams will be funded, owned and operated by the league with a level of consistency and branding managed by the league.  However, the co-existence of these two models is key to growing the sport."
