New Swarm Sponsors 7 FlingGolf Players in Inaugural Division of the Speedgolf US Open
New Swarm is thrilled to help support 7 players on their journey to compete in the first ever FlingGolf Division in a Speedgolf USA Tournament. And it's not just any tournament - it is the US Open.
Jonathan Bellingham (WV), Sam Scannell (NC), Daniel Tirado-Barbould (IN), Leslie Harlacker (VA), Jake Anderson (CA), Rosie Flores (CA), and Jacob Hooter (TX) will be joining around 70 traditional Speedgolfers at Temecula Creek Golf Club outside San Diego on July 25 and 26. They will be competing in USA Speedgolf's 10th US Open.
The Speed-FlingGolfers will be playing by the rules of the World League FlingGolf while accounting for slight variations to accommodate the tournament, and the Speedgolfers will be playing by the rules of SpeedgolfUSA.
This represents the first FlingGolf division in a speedgolf tournament, but there is mutual excitement to incorporate these two innovations in golf-course-sport into future tournaments.
Expect to see more players from both sports, crossing those divides.
