Our first organized regional event of 2023 will be held at Capon Springs and Farms in West Virginia. This springs resort has been in the family of fellow FlingGolfer Jonathan Bellingham (Octajon FlingMan) for generations and they are proud to host this special event.
The WLF Potomac Highlands Regional will feature a variety of FlingGolf events throughout the weekend. Join top tier FlingGolf pros battling it out in the individual tournament. There will also be FlingGolf clinics, a FlingGolf panel discussion, a youth/beginners tournament and a Team Scramble. Whether you are an experienced FlingGolf pro or just beginning with the sport, you can participate in all the events or just pick the ones you'd like to do.
Tournament with the Pros
The tourney will feature some of the best FlingGolfers in the world, including the #1 and #3 ranked Men's players (Showtime and Big Cat) and the #1 and #2 ranked Women's players (Reggie Queen and Birdie of Prey). But you don't need to be a pro to enter, even beginners can join the fun.
Capon Team Scramble
Four player teams will battle it out in a scamble format, where each teammate plays the next shot from the location of the team's best previous lie. Teams will be balanced, having a mix of experienced FlingGolfers and pure beginners.
PREP COURSE TOURNEY
At the same time as the Capon Scramble, kids and FlingGolf beginners will have the option to play on the Prep Course. This short course with holes between 35-85 yards and small greens is perfect for new FlingGolfers but can be a challenge for experienced players too.
The WLF Potomac Highlands Regional at Capon Springs will be held the weekend of April 28-30, 2023. The primary individual tournament will be held on Saturday the 29th but the entire weekend will have FlingGolf related events. Click here for directions.

No. We want this to be a fun and casual event for all levels of FlingGolf experience. We will form balanced teams that include a mix of pros, experienced players and beginners.
Definitely Not. This is meant to be a casual and fun weekend. Although FlingGolf pros will be competing in the Individual Tournament, this is not mean to exclude beginners from participating. In some cases we will also have activites aimed at true beginners (the Clinics on Saturday and the Prep Course Tourney on Sunday). Finally, there are many things to do at Capon Springs that do not involve FlingGolf and we encourage you to take advantage of these activites.
Only New Swarm FlingGolf FlingSticks may be used, without custom modifications other than the use of a Putting Slug or customized grips.
This will be a "pure" FlingGolf event so only one FlingStick may be used.
You may use any regulation golf ball for the tournament events.
As Capon Springs is a casual, resort environment there is no dress code for the golf course. However, given that families may be present we ask that you use some taste and keep that in mind.
