This Giving Tuesday, November 30, New Swarm/FlingGolf will be donating 12 FlingSticks to the First Tee - Florida Gold Coast to grow our partnership and help the chapter bring more juniors and veterans to their programs.
Coach Joe Gerard has been involving FlingGolf into his curriculum since he was introduced to the sport at the PGA Show in 2019. During that time, Coach Joe has included New Swarm's FlingSticks in juniors programs and is now planning to expand those programs to include First Tee's work with veterans and also juniors and adults with special needs. "As I've been developing programs for our juniors, I've seen more and more of them attracted to using the FlingSticks on the course. We've even developed some parent/child events where the parents are also using the FlingSticks and everyone is having a great time and learning their way around the course. I am excited to be expanding those programs in the coming months to also include our work with veterans and with special needs players, and ultimately implementing a First Tee FlingGolf League early in 2022. I want to thank New Swarm for it's generous contribution of FlingSticks to help these programs grow and help us impact juniors and veterans in such a positive way." All of us at New Swarm are very excited to be growing our partnership with First Tee Gold Coast and various other First Tee chapters across the US. The First Tee mission to "impact the lives of young people, including those with special needs, and veterans", is something that we believe in as it also meshes closely with our growing activities to help veterans get out on golf courses and healing, as with our recent FlingStick donation to Fairways for Warriors. We are thrilled that FlingGolf, with players now playing in 29 Countries on well over 1200 golf courses is also being enthusiastically played by veterans and active military as well as kids, parents, golfers and non-golfers. It is beyond fun to see it appealing to such a wide array of players and doing good at the same time.
