With Jamaica liberated, FlingGolf has been played in 27 countries.

Ryan and Rachel Stevens, avid FlingGolf players from Vancouver, WA, took their FlingSticks down to Cinnamon Hill Golf Course in Montego Bay, and liberated Jamaica in early March.  With Jamaica in the books, the tally of countries where FlingGolf players have liberated courses has reached 27.  

Ryan, a co-founder of Clark County Be Fling'n group on Facebook and member of the FlingGolf Players group, said that the experience was "awesome".  "The Cinnamon Hill staff looked at our FlingSticks with curiosity, which quickly turned to amazement once we started playing.  They had never seen it before, so it was fun to see how quickly it put a smile on their faces as we headed off the first tee. I can't believe we liberated an entire island nation!"

The reason behind the easy growth of FlingGolf internationally is its ability to fit seamlessly on a golf course, combined with the ease of traveling with a single FlingStick that weighs less than a pound.  The Stevens' brought their FlingSticks in a ski bag, while others have used a fly fishing rod case and brought them carry on.  Additionally, more and more international courses are ordering their own supply of FlingSticks in order to introduce the sport to their local communities.

In a cool coincidence, while the Stevens were playing, they ran into Jared Wofford the star of the video: "Relax.  This is FlingGolf." on the 5th hole.  Jared was in Jamaica doing a promotional shoot for Jamaica Tourism.
