World League FlingGolf and ESPN Renew Media Partnership to Broadcast New Swarm Tour Action
The Worldwide Leader in Sports and the pioneering league of FlingGolf will partner again to bring the rapidly growing golf course sport into millions of households this summer.
Amesbury, MA - June 22, 2026. For the 5th consecutive season, ESPN will be bringing World League FlingGolf action into viewer's homes on it's ESPN2 Channel, with additional coverage following on ESPNews. ESPN plans to broadcast the WLF's Low Country Open in the first week of August. The broadcast will cover portions of the Women's, Men's, and Master's Divisions of the WLF's New Swarm Tour.
Since 2022, ESPN has captured the emerging sport's top players in on-course play, as well as 2 LFC Longest FlingShot Championships. Viewers have seen the New Swarm Classic from Delaware which included the LFC-2 Longest FlingShot Championship, as well as the San Diego Open, the All Star Skills Challenge, and the LFC-5 at the Treasure Coast Open from Florida in 2025. This year, FlingGolf action will be coming in from South Carolina's Old South Golf Course in Bluffton.
Fans of the sport, both new and old, will see their favorite players, including Sam "Scantron" Scannell, Austin "Showtime" Ebersole, Jacob "Hootman" Hooter, Britt "The Queen" Hammond and Jeff "Hardcore" Harvey battle it out in their respective divisions.
The Lowcountry Open is just one stop on the league's New Swarm Pro Series Tour, with additional stops in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Missouri in 2026.
Beyond the Pro Series Tour, New Swarm, the maker and brand of FlingGolf equipment, and WLF, both support a Regional Series Tour surpassing 12 stops in 2026, the 3rd Britain's Cup in the UK this summer, and the Club Series also beginning this summer. The Regional Series and Club Series are designed to engage and welcome every level of FlingGolf play in a competitive yet social atmosphere and are well attended by WLF Pros looking to spread the FlingGolf knowledge throughout the community.
WLF and ESPN will announce specific times and dates for the airing of the Lowcountry Open as soon as those become available.
