FlingGolf Partners With Shootout For Soldiers to Raise Money for Veterans

Shootout for Soldiers is a 24 hour lacrosse game benefiting wounded American military members. It’s not a tournament, nor is it about recruiting. The event is all about supporting those who serve our country, fostering community engagement, and having fun.  Shootout For Soldiers began in 2012 in Baltimore and has since raised over $3 million for our veterans.

This year, FlingGolf partnered with Shootout for Soldiers California to help raise over $40,000 for wounded veterans. The event took place August 10-11, 2019 at Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, CA and had nearly 800 registered players and over 3,000 fans, community members, and spectators. Attendees were able to learn about the game, try out FlingGolf first-hand, compete in the FlingGolf Closest to the Pin Competition, and enter the FlingStick raffle.
