Fads come and go. Business cycles are perpetual. Change is inevitable.
What are your biggest problems?
Not enough younger players? Are your fees too high? Is golf boring? Too slow (or not fast enough)? Are you constantly feeling the push/pull between existing members and trying to gain new membership? Is this business model outdated? Be different. Think differently. Be creative.
We’re not looking at solving the financial burden or existing membership issues of your organization. Our desire (after creating a cool new sport) is to grow the sport, adoption, and get people out there. Think exercise, vitamin D and less screen time.
We’ve had a great year. FlingGolf is growing around the world. Get your course on the FlingGolf map.
Let’s keep it simple: Attract younger players and non-golfers to your facility. This isn’t just an “adopt it and they will come” solution; FlingGolf has built the product. Now let’s grow this together! Get the FlingStick into the hands of a younger player. Make them the champion. They’ll tell their friends. They’ll be back. It’s that simple. They won’t destroy your facility. They’ll love it. You can partner with the hockey, baseball, and lacrosse players. Organizations will want to have their events at your facility.
If your traditionalists frown upon this and say that FlingGolf isn’t golf, look them in the eye and say “Nope. It’s not.” And then follow up and say that it costs a lot less, easier to play, more fun, less technical, and requires no modifications to the course.
You can still have first-tee programs, lessons, F&B, parties, golf boards, golf cart racing, divots, slow golfers, cranky players, etc. None of this changes. You’re simply appealing to a “be different” generation.
